This week years 2 and 3 had the wonderful opportunity to have a taster of Chin Woo.  The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.

Chin Woo will be running a 6 week course starting in September, which will include Self Defence and Padwork (Pads 4 Life). Chin Woo work together with West Mercia Police and their Telford and Wrekin Community Safe Partnership providing training in self defence, which in turn will increase students confidence and help to reduce bullying within schools. They are currently running a number of these clubs in other schools and they are proving to be successful and have had feedback from parents that they have improved their child’s confidence substantially.

Chin Woo charge £6 per class for the activities, but at after school club they give a discount where parents pay £4 x 6 weeks per child.  Woodlands will be sending out the after school club letter for September later on this year.  So keep your eye out for future letters!
