A Workshop to Support Families
In these very challenging times, our children are going through so much change and it is becoming increasingly more difficult with social distancing measures for children to just have the freedom to be themselves. There are so many restrictions
placed upon them, leaving them feeling very frustrated.

As a former teacher, author and advocate for children’s emotional health and well-being, I have worked with many children over the years. I have witnessed children’s ‘light bulb’ moment when they can see a way forward.

The workshop shares with parents: 6 key ways to build their child’s resilience in uncertain times. I share practical guidance, plus tips and tools that you can use now to support your child.

Here are the topics that will be covered in the session:
Time for self-reflection and self-discovery
Building resilience
Daily practices to support children’s well-being
Building self-esteem and belief systems to support a positive future
Developing emotional intelligence
Understanding how the mind works

The workshop demonstrates to parents when we come together to support each other, we are stronger. Understanding that we cannot control the circumstances, but we can control our reactions, feelings and behaviours.
