Miss Jones’ literacy group have worked really hard recently. We have written a short fantasy story; a non-chronological report (about owls) and today we planned our latest piece of writing. We are very excited to be retelling a famous story by Roald Dahl but adding our own twist on the ending.

When we read the story we were left with a cliffhanger… today we were able to plan what we think happened next.

We spent some time planning and even had time to search for synonyms.
