It was a new half term running as Forest School, and we had 16 children, ranging from reception up to year 6!
Mrs Barnett & Mrs Price explained the rules to keep everyone safe (No pick, no lick, no harm), and then we talked about poppies and why you use them to remember people who have fought for our country. We looked at some Andy Goldsworthy land art, and then we went off to create our own poppy land art!
Mrs Price made us all some hot chocolate while Mrs Barnett lit a small fire so we could all toast a marshmallow on a stick… they were delicious, and we had lots of fun!
Really looking forward to next week!
