Family Learning exists to promote an enthusiasm for learning by encouraging families to learn together. On Family Learning courses, adults (mothers, fathers, grandparents, carers etc) work with children to:
- Offer ideas to encourage mothers, fathers etc to help support their child’s learning (children can be ages from 0 to 16)
- Improve the English, Maths, Language and ICT skills of parents
- Support the children’s acquisition of English, Maths and Language
Most of our course are delivered in Telford schools buy courses can be run from a range of community venues and Children’s centres in Telford.
Family Learning will be running three FREE courses at Woodlands Primary School along with a FREE crèche. These include Jewellery Making/Craft Making, Cake Decorating and Understanding Children’s Social and Emotional Behaviour.
