Junior Chef’s Club

During the Spring Term 10 of the School Councillors have taken part in the Junior Chef’s Club delivered by Josh, School Canteen Manager. The club ran over a period of 4 weeks, each week learning something new.  The children prepared, cooked and tasted chicken, potatoes, carrots plus a delicious rosemary and mushroom sauce.

Here are a few pictures of the children enjoying cooking.

Josh said “I think the Junior Chef’s Club offers a great opportunity for pupils to begin to learn the basics of an important life skill. The cooking club allows them to understand where food comes from and encourages them to take an interest in how the many different dishes on offer are produced”.

Bradley – “I love the cooking club especially making the sauce”.

Maisy – “I thought that cooking club was amazing! It was the best and I want to be a chef when I’m older”.

Well done everyone!
