Wow we have been busy in October in Year 3.
We have continued our swimming lessons, where the children have really pushed themselves to try new things and become more confident in the water. We are so proud of them all, but especially those who had never been swimming before who are now making their way across the pool independently. We have another 3 sessions left after half term to continue our fantastic swimming.
We have also had a great time taking part in ‘Experience Harvest’. Our friends from the church visited us and we all took part in the session learning about where our food comes from and how Christians celebrate.
Below are some photos of us enjoying the session.
Our literacy work has included researching the different capital cities of the UK. We have used laptops and books to find out about the things people do when they visit London and Edinburgh. We have then written persuasive texts to try to convince you to visit these cities.
Have a fantastic half term and we will see you all in November.
