Reception News Autumn 1 Week 1

Welcome to your first Reception News post of the year!

This week, Reception children have made the educators so proud with how amazingly they have settled into their new school environment. The first week in school can be a rollercoaster of emotions for children and parents alike but, we have been bowled over by how fantastic each and every child has been this week!

Children have been getting to know the rules and routines at Woodlands and staff have all thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each child as an individual during their first few days. Children have had circle times and discussed our schools golden rules, practised using knives and forks at lunch time and enjoyed exploring the different spaces and resources on offer during project learning time.

A big thank you to all parents for your continued support this week, if you have any questions or queries about anything then please feel free to see a teacher face to face during drop off or pick up time. Or, you are welcome to message a member of staff using our Dojo platform.
