We have been making algorithms in Year 1 as part of our learning about computing. We have been exploring the story The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch in the role play area and decided to create some sandwiches or our own. Then we recorded the instructions (algorithms) so we could tell our friends how to make a sandwich. Last we tested the alogrithms to see if they worked or if they needed to be de-bugged! The best part was being able to eat the sandwiches at the end! Please enjoy the pictures – we even washed up at the end!
