A warm welcome back to all of Year 1 after the Easter holidays. We hope that you all had a fantastic break and enjoyed some of the sunshine.

We are keen to encourage the independence of the children for the remainder of the school year so we are asking that the children come into the classrooms on their own from next week – so they can be responsible for putting away their belongings and completeing any early morning work on their own.

There are lots of adults in the classroom to support the children, if they require it, and of course Miss Evans, Mrs Hurford and Mrs Housley, will be available at the doors at the start and end of each day, if you wish to discuss anything with them.
