In year 1 we have been reading ‘Here We Are’ and thinking about the world around us. We have been observing seasonal changes closely and making our own representations of the changing trees. We have also been carefully observing our environment, looking at the world beneath our feet and the world around us.

In snake garden Mrs Braim’s class have been investigating worms and the things that live under the ground. We have been using watercolours, pens, loose parts and natural resources to represent our thinking.

In Mrs Paterson’s class, we have been looking at our communities and comparing with others around the world. We have been researching using google earth and representing using drawing and construction materials
