Throughout the week the children will also be practising their writing by holding and writing sentences linked to their story – remembering capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and fred fingers for spelling. In maths they will be beginning to learn how to count in 2’s and 5’s and creating resources to support them in this. During our project learning the children will finding out more about their senses and what happens when you take one of these senses away.

On Friday, the children will be focussing on children’s mental health and wellbeing as part of ‘Children’s mental health week’. They will be finding out how to think of themselves in a positive way and sharing what makes them happy.
