Year 3 November Learning

In our Literacy lessons this month we have been writing a setting description about Edinburgh Castle, focusing on the building itself, the surrounding area, the views and the inside of the castle. The children have really impressed us with their ideas and use of vocabulary.

During Numeracy lessons, we have continued our work on multiplication before moving onto division. For the latter part of November we have been learning about pictograms, bar graphs and tally charts and how we can use them to show data.

This month, we have enjoyed our ‘Children in Need’ day where we dressed up and got to meet Pudsey bear himself! As part of Children in Need we explored the impact that difficult times can have on us and what we found particularly difficult about the recent lockdowns.
