It’s been another busy and exciting month in year 4!
In literacy, we have been using direct speech, fronted adverbials and expanded noun phrases to help us write a story all about the Viking Gods.
As mathematicians, we have been learning how to tell the time on analogue and digital clocks and convert between the two as well being able to convert between the 12 and 24 hour formats.
We have also learnt all about road safety and practiced crossing the road on our Pedestrian road safety day.
Another exciting event was Sports Day! The children competed in running races and throwing events, along with our favourites the egg and spoon and sack races.
In Art, we have been studying printing and using the natural world to help us create different textures and patterns.
As scientists, we have been exploring the human digestive system and have investigated the effects different drinks have on our teeth and have made our own digestive systems.
In computing, we have been looking at coding and the repeat comment to create patterns in Logo.
