It has been so great to have a full classroom again, we have really covered a lot in a short space of time.
In literacy, we have been making links to our science topic of ‘Living things and their habitats’. We have written an information text on an endangered animal of our choice and a piece of persuasive writing considering a balanced argument for and against zoos, and forming our own opinions.
As mathematicians, we have learnt strategies for adding and subtracting fraction and formal multiplication and division.
In our creative subjects, we have been learning guitar in music and developing our sketching skills in art.
In computing, we have been learning all about computer networks, how they communicate and link to the internet through a router.
As geographers, we have been exploring the earth and how it is divided, learning about the equator, longitude and latitude and the topics of cancer and the two poles.
As you can see, an extremely busy few weeks with lots of fantastic learning. Have fabulous Easter break and we will look forward to seeing you all again after.
