This month has been very busy, the children have been engrossed in their learning.
We have been creating our own mythical creatures using clay to link with our Art curriculum – working with Form. Then we used our creatures in our writing, where we have written our own short narrative based on the myth Pandora’s box.
During Science the classes have been investigating Living things and their habitats.
The children arranged a variety of animals to fit with their characteristics, creating a classification key which separated creatures according to their features and abilities and therefore able to identify what class they belong to (mammal, reptile etc)
In connection to our science topic on Living things and their habitats, our sunflowers have gone from strength to strength. We can’t wait to see how tall they’ll be after half term!
