On Thursday 11th January, Woodlands Choir travelled to the Genting Arena in Birmingham to perform alongside 6000 other children from around the country.

They sang nearly twenty songs (for which they had to learn the words!) and took part in a number of dances. The children couldn’t believe how big the arena was and said they felt like celebrities when the lights were on.

Lots of parents came to watch and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The children had a fantastic day and made us all very proud!

A big thankyou to Friends of Woodlands for the eyecatching banner and the contribution you made to our coach. Also, a big thankyou to Madeley Town Council for the grant we recieved which meant all children were able to wear an official Young Voices t.shirt.
