Be Bright, Be Seen, Be Safe Non-Uniform Day – FRIDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER

On Friday 27th September we will be holding a ‘Be Bright Be Seen Be Safe’, road safety campaign.  Fluorescent clothes helps children to be seen in the daytime and near dusk, especially when the weather’s not so good. We are asking children to dress in one item or wear lots of bright clothes, pink, orange, red, yellow….They can choose, the brighter the better!! Remember ‘Be Bright Be Seen Be Safe’.

There will be a prize for the ‘brightest’ dressed child!

Friends of Woodlands will be holding a ‘Halloween Disco’ on Thursday 24th October– Fancy dress is optional.  There will be lots of dancing, fun games to play and prizes to be won!

Cancer affects us all at some point or another and very few of us are lucky enough to have never been touched in some way by the effects of this disease.

Therefore, we would be very grateful if you could come along and support the Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September between 8.45 am and 9.45 am.

Friends of Woodlands will be selling cakes and drinks in the Café Area.  Cake donations for this event will be greatly appreciated to help this fantastic cause.

Children will have the opportunity to buy a cake or biscuit during break time for 20p.  Any leftover cakes will be sold at the end of the day.

We thank you in anticipation of your support and look forward to seeing you on Friday 27th September.
