Today, Year 5 have been celebrating Chinese New Year. In class, we have been learning about how and why each year is represented by an animal from learning the Chinese Zodiac story. We have also attempted to write Happy New Year in traditional Chinese lettering 新年快乐.  We then attempted to create a paper Chinese lantern with a design of our choice and finally we opened a fortune cookie and shared our fortunes.
