Year 6 are having a wonderful time at Harper Adams University, as part of our ‘Raising Aspirations’ project. All children participated in the project during year 5 and our visit today is the final part of the exciting project!
We are currently on a campus tour…
Now we are in an engineering workshop!
We are now participating in an activity, where we are using equipment to measure office space. After obtaining our measurements, we will be calculating the area of each space and working out its potential rental value!
Later in the afternoon, we participated in an amazing workshop. It was led by Ryan from Exotic Zoo: he told us so many interesting facts. He also introduced us to: Charlotte (a tarantula), a frog, a skunk, a meerkat, a snake and a crocodile! We certainly got to face our fears – it was amazing!
Finally, we found out some super information in a canine workshop, that we all really enjoyed!
