Although we are busy working hard towards our SATS, we will still be exploring lots of exciting things in our creative topic – Rich and Poor in Ancient Egypt. This topic will be a focus in Literacy, where we will be reading and writing a number of different genres about: general life of the rich and poor; Pharaohs, Tutankhamun, mummification etc. We will also be exploring the narrative story: Egyptian Cinderella. Egyptian music will also be explored and composed! During Science, we are researching famous scientists for a presentation of our choice and in PE we will be learning and playing cricket!
