Welcome back to an exciting spring term at Woodlands!

We have  an exciting new topic this term called ‘The Arts’. This will cover aspects of historic and modern art through time. Children will have the opportunity to discover different artists as well as exploring different styles of art by creating their own masterpiece. We will be setting a homework project (look out for this in the homework section!) in which children can recreate a famous artists work using a medium of their choice. We look forward to sharing these later on in the term.

In science this half term we will be looking at Rocks and Soils and discovering different types of rocks and investigating their properties.
