From January, PE and Outdoor Learning will be on a Friday. Mrs Nicholas’ class will be doing PE for the first half term and Mrs Duncombe’s class will be doing Outdoor Learning. Please ensure your child brings the correct kit.

Year 5/6 Telford and WREKIN Netball Tournament
Here is our brilliant year 5/6 netball team, who competed in the High 5 Tournament at Telford Langley School on Thursday 20th October. Once again, sporting attitude was outstanding and we improved upon last year’s performance with a convincing win. A thoroughly enjoyable tournament, with some of our amazing children. Well done!
Year 5/6 TAG RUGBY COMPETITION
On Wednesday 19th October, the Woodlands Tag Rugby team competed at the Teford Hornets’ Rugby Club in the Primary School 5/6 Tournament. Needless to say, our team was amazing! They won two matches and fought so hard in every game they played. At the end of the tournament, we finished 3rd in our pool. One of the coaches came over to say that our team had shown a fantastic sporting attitude and followed this up with an email to Mr Demmerling expressing how brilliant our team had been. Well done team. An absolute credit to the school!
Scintillating Samba in Year 4!
On Thursday 13th October, parents are invited to come into school and be wowed at our ‘samba talent’. Mrs Duncombe’s class are performing from 9:40 to 10:10 and Mrs Nicholas’ class from 10:45 until 11:15.
The children and staff look forward seeing you there. Remember to fill in your slip and return to your child’s class.
Year 5/6 Football Tournament 3rd October 2016
Yesterday, our team played in a tournament at Telford Priory School. We began with a fantastic draw against Ladygrove and then continued to play three hard fought matches against other schools.
Obviously we are very proud of the team and can’t wait for the next match. Well done!
